Police have launched an investigation into a viral altercation that reportedly took place at the Zimi Seh Beach entertainment event in St Ann on Sunday.
The event was held at Puerto Seco Beach in Discovery Bay, where videos from the incident have since spread widely across social media.
The footage appears to show a group of men attacking other patrons, sparking outrage among viewers online.
The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) confirmed on Tuesday that detectives attached to the St Ann Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) are actively investigating the incident.
According to the police, investigators are seeking information from people who were at the event and may have witnessed what happened.
The JCF is also appealing to anyone with recordings, photographs, or other information that could help investigators piece together the circumstances surrounding the altercation to come forward.
Radam Magazine is also urging members of the public not to take matters into their own hands as police continue their investigation.
Images of people alleged to be involved have been circulating on social media, but members of the public are encouraged to allow investigators to determine what happened and avoid confronting, threatening, or harassing anyone connected to the incident.
