Cashan lands biggest career win as debut album breaks into U.S. iTunes Reggae top three

Cashan is out here making noise with her debut album and it feels earned. Here Comes Cashan has climbed up to number three on the US iTunes Reggae Albums chart, a serious moment for the sensational talent.

This kind of run puts her right in the mix with some of the genre’s heavy hitters and shows she’s building something worth watching.

Straight out of St. Ann, Cashan is also lighting up the charts with her single Sweet Jamaica. The music video blasted from 62nd place straight to the number one spot on the US iTunes Trending Music Videos chart.

It knocked off releases from big international names like Beyoncé and DJ Khaled, and left a bunch of yard artists in the dust, including Intence, Skeng, Khandy Brawling and Aidonia.

Temple Boss Records put the project out, with Monk Records chipping in on production. The 13 tracks pull together deep reggae vibes, proper dancehall energy, and that wider Caribbean flavor we all know and love.

It opens with the emotional “Sweet Jamaica,” a straight love letter to the island, before delving into themes of romance, pushing through hard times, taking charge, and believing in oneself.

Babylon stands tall as one of the real gems. Cashan spits pure confidence, letting it be known that nobody can dull her shine or take what’s hers.

The album features talents like Yaksta, Richie Spice, Louie Culture and Topmann for some solid deliveries.

Since it dropped, the album has been on a steady climb. It started at number 40 on the Reggae chart before locking down a spot in the top three right beside the legendary Bob Marley and the Wailers.

It’s pulling fans from everywhere too, jumping from 151 to 62 on the US iTunes Top 200 Albums list, with more people tuning in every day.

Cashan is clearly on the move. From her St. Ann roots to turning heads overseas, this looks like the start of something big.
