A 20-year-old man has reportedly drowned after going swimming with friends on Monday evening.
The deceased has been identified as Robert Ford, a 20-year-old security guard of David Lane, Port Antonio.
Reports are that, David went for a swim at around 4:00pm. He swam underneath the water, came back up, and then went under again.
After not coming back up the second time, his friends thought he was playing around.
After some time, the lifeguards realized Robert was having difficulties and jumped into the water in an attempt to save the young man.
His lifeless body was pulled from the water and a doctor who was on the scene pronounced him dead.
