Skillibeng got an unexpected surprise during his performance at the Baccha Festival in Martinique on Saturday night when a female fan joined him on stage and proceeded to sing his lyrics almost flawlessly.
The EastSyde deejay delivered a high-energy set at the Caribbean festival in Le Marin on August 8, but it was his interaction with one particular fan that quickly became one of the night’s standout moments.
While performing “Tip (Remix),” Skillibeng invited the woman onto the stage to join him for the song.
What happened next appeared to catch even the deejay himself off guard.
The fan knew the song word for word and delivered the lyrics with such confidence that Skillibeng repeatedly took the microphone away from her, seemingly stunned by how well she knew the fast-paced track.
Rather than simply letting the moment pass, Skillibeng eventually handed the microphone back to her and allowed her to prove herself once again and she didn’t miss a beat.
The woman continued singing along with the song’s rapid-fire lyrics, impressing Skillibeng and the crowd before the deejay wrapped up the memorable interaction with a hug and told her, “I love you.”
Clips of the moment have since drawn attention from fans, with commenters praising the woman’s ability to keep up with the song while also complimenting her energy, vibes and appearance.
“Tip (Remix)” was released in 2025 by Dancehall artiste Ayetian and producer Nvtzz, with Skillibeng joining the remix. The song became one of the standout collaborations in Skillibeng’s recent catalogue, with the deejay himself later naming the track among the highlights of his 2025.
The Martinique performance also saw Skillibeng run through some of his other popular songs, including his 2020 hit “Crocodile Teeth,” keeping the crowd moving throughout his set.
For the performance, the Jamaican deejay kept his look casual but stylish, wearing a white merino, short blue denim jeans, a brown Louis Vuitton belt, brown shoes with his signature Crocodile Teeth themed chain. He completed the outfit with a grey/blue denim hat bearing the word “HARD” that he later took off during his performance.
The performance formed part of the 12th edition of Baccha Festival, which is taking place from August 7 to 9, 2026. Saturday’s “Baccha World Trip” ran from 2 p.m. until midnight as part of the festival’s three-day Caribbean celebration.
For Skillibeng, however, one of the night’s most memorable moments wasn’t just another hit song; it was a fan who knew his lyrics so well that even the deejay had to stop and take notice.
