Nine Prisoners Break Out of Constant Spring Police Station

A manhunt is currently underway following a major jailbreak at the Constant Spring Police Station in St. Andrew on Tuesday morning, which saw nine men escape from lock-up.

It was initially reported that eight prisoners had escaped from the station, but the authorities later confirmed that a total of nine men had absconded. According to reports, the jailbreak was discovered during a routine check at the police station this morning.

The prisoners escaped the station by cutting open an area at the lock-up. Of the nine prisoners who fled, only one of the men has since been captured. The police have launched a probe into the escape and are searching for the remaining escapees.

The men who are currently still on the run from the authorities are:

-Kemal Kelly, a 25-year-old resident of the Mannings Hill district in St. Andrew, who was charged with assault at common law and using a firearm to commit a scheduled offence.

-Fray Mesias, an 18-year-old resident of Pinto, Stony Hill, St. Andrew, who was charged with rape.

-Richard Bishop, a 19-year-old resident of Olympic Way, St. Andrew, who was charged with burglary and larceny.

-Brandon Ennis, a 26-year-old resident of Belvedere, Red Hills, St. Andrew, who was charged with possession of a prohibited weapon.

-Talik Chambers, a 23-year-old resident of Burlington Avenue, St. Andrew, who was charged with identity theft.

-Alonzo Espute, a 19-year-old resident of Cassava Piece, St. Andrew, who was charged with murder (stabbing).

-Junior Anthony Barnes, a 26-year-old resident of Iron River, Stony Hill, St. Andrew, who was charged with possession of a weapon and ammunition.

-Donque Douglas, a 25-year-old resident of Oxford Street, Kingston, whose charges are not yet known.
