Valiant appears relatively unbothered by fellow deejay Armanii’s diss over the weekend, with the Passenger Princess artiste reacting to the viral moment in a humorous video.
Alkaline’s New Rules music festival returned to Jamaica for the first time in three years on Saturday, and fans were treated to performances from ‘The Man Himself’ as well as artistes such as Armanii. While the deejay kept fans engaged with selections from his catalogue, it was his unsuspected jabs at Valiant, producer DJ Mac, and party promoter/podcaster Walk and Talk.
Armanii took aim at Walk and Talk first, telling the promoter to “s**k his mother. He then took a jab at DJ Mac while performing his song 8: 00 PM, stating, “Hear yuh f**k Dj Mac, me sure a fool dat.” After taking a moment to enjoy the jab, the artiste continued to perform the song.
As the single came to an end Armanii told Valiant to s**k his mother. Clips from the concert later went viral with viewers finding Armanii’s vocalisation of the diss over the song’s beat humorous.
Social media users were not the only ones to laugh at the onstage diss, with Valiant recreating the moment in a video.
The deejay also shared a post on his Instagram Stories on Monday that seemingly addressed the matter further.
“Imagine hating me and I don’t notice,” Valiant’s post states.
DJ Mac went on to share the same post on his own Instagram account.
