Popular dancer and social media personality Dancing Rebel recently shared on TikTok that she underwent cosmetic surgery on her nose. She previously had liposuction and a Brazilian butt lift, and some social media users have criticised the dancer’s decision to have cosmetic surgery once again.
In a video shared to her TikTok page, Rebel showed her bandaged nose and eyes, which she said was to stop swelling. She also shared that cartilage was removed from under her breast to be used in her rhinoplasty (nose job) procedure.
According to Rebel, the pain that she has been experiencing from her rhinoplasty is minor. However, the cartilage removal is very painful.
While many of her viewers extended their support, others expressed that her nose job was an unnecessary procedure.
Some suggested that it was a lack of self-love that pushed her to do the surgery.
“Self love is lacking in this world,” one viewer wrote.
Another viewer said that the dancer was perfect the way she was before the surgery.
“Rebel was perfect wid r nose weh she did ave. Girl did pretty pan any side, just saying.”
Despite the backlash, Rebel has been sharing her recovery journey, and in one of her updates, she shared that she only slightly reconstructed the tip of her nose. She also said that she was happy with her decision.
In another update, Rebel thanked all her supporters and shared that his nose was damaged during a childhood accident. The social media personality also said that people should stop being angry about a decision she made about her nose.
“Stop being mad about my nose, man. Just chill out and relax. And mi know nuff a unuh a guh seh, ‘Oh, nutting neva do yuh, what eva, what eva. She nuh happy with harself, she nuh love harself.’ That’s not the case. I was not happy with my nose, so I fixed it,” Rebel said.
