A video circulating on social media has since gone viral after a pastor baptizing a woman at a river was washed away.
The video shows the woman and pastor along with church members inside the river where the ceremony took place.
Minutes into the video, and the second attempt at Christian baptism, the woman and the pastor started having difficulties in the deep water.
Both participants were subsequently washed away by the river.
Members of their church quickly jumped in to save their lives but also had difficulties.
“The water deep and mi can’t swim”, a witness said.
