One woman is confirmed dead after reportedly being hit by a police service vehicle.
The incident reportedly happened along the Bridgeport main road in Portmore, St. Catherine Thursday night at 9:40pm.
The deceased has not yet been identified up to press time.
Reports are that a woman who was clad in a purple shirt and black jeans pants was crossing the road when the vehicle struck her.
The woman died on the spot.
Her body was later removed to the morgue pending investigations.
