A woman lost her life in a tragic motor vehicle crash in Ocho Rios, St. Ann, early Saturday morning.
The incident occurred sometime after 5:00 a.m. when the woman was reportedly struck from behind by a white Toyota Mark X.
The vehicle crashed into a utility pole before coming to a stop
At the time of the collision, she was dressed in blue denim jeans and a leopard-print shirt.
A crowd of people immediately ran to the scene of the accident after hearing a loud crash nearby.
Onlookers who gathered were shocked to see the lifeless body of the woman lying on the ground meters away from the vehicle.
The crash was captured on nearby CCTV cameras, and investigators are expected to review the footage as part of their probe into the circumstances surrounding the fatal collision.
Up to press time, authorities had not released the identity of the deceased woman.
