A tragic accident unfolded on Kingston’s 3 Mile Bridge this afternoon.
A man on a motorbike was struck by a motor vehicle on the three-mile overpass bridge.
He flew off his bike and plunged from the overhead bridge into traffic below.
Hunts Bay Police responded quickly to the chaotic scene.
They rushed the injured man to Kingston Public Hospital where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The victim has not yet been identified.
Police are now investigating the circumstances of the crash and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
