During a live stream earlier this week, popular TikToker Rosealee talked about her troubled relationship with her partner, Jakes, and shared that she is at times plagued by suicidal thoughts and also thinks about hurting him as well as her children.
The revelation comes amid her fallout with fellow TikToker Ackeem, with whom she had been collaborating on a dating series on social media. While talking about her relationship with Jakes, Rosealee said that Ackeem would never have been able to come into her life if he had been treating her right.
She also shared that she has been with Jakes since she was 20 years old and was initially madly in love with him. However, Rosealee said that he has become the worst partner she has ever had and is irritated by everything he does.
“Jakes a di worse bl**dcl**t man mi deh wid in a mi life. Yuh only think bout yuh self and yuh feelings. How about how I feel?… Jakes a bwoy weh mi did love till mi fool, blind, and cyah si. Now mi can’t even stand him. Everything weh him do irritate mi. Every sound weh him meck,” Rosealee said.
Explaining that neither of them actually wants to be with the other, Rosealee said that Jakes is a man who is filled with ego and is only interested in sex. She blamed him for breaking their bond and seemingly suggested that there had been physical abuse in their relationship.
The TikToker went on to share that the state of her life leaves her contemplating suicide as well as hurting Jakes and her children.
“Some a unuh nuh even ask how mu Bum**Cl**t feel. Mi feel like mi would a guh run up in a Bum**Cl**t bus or poison mi self a suh mi feel… Sometime di pressure just feel like mi wah… light di place a fire, stab up Jakes and stab up di pickney dem and everything just done and ova wid. Sometime a dem tings deh mi see a come in a mi mind and mi just seh no, hold it gyal,” Rosealee stated.
Rosealee’s video quickly went viral, with some viewers finding her statements concerning. It appears that social media users were not the only ones who found the video troubling, as representatives from the Child Protection and Family Services Agency (CPFSA) removed Rosealee’s son and daughter from her custody just a few days later.
The children were reportedly removed from Rosealee’s residence sometime between Wednesday and Thursday. Following the removal of her children, Rosealee shared the CPFSA’s decision on a live stream.
The TikToker appeared to blame the agency’s decision on her crititcs, who she seemingly thinks notified CPFSA about the video. Rosealee said her critics had finally gotten what they wanted and should give themselves a round of applause.
She said that she has only ever used TikTok to make money and express herself, but people have consistently degraded her and her family.
“Mi be mi self, unuh hate mi fi dat. Unuh class dem, unuh talk bout how dem fadah a f**k dem, mi and dem a maid, unuh do all a dat… And sometime when mi siddung and consider how unuh do mi and dem eh just pain mi heart caw mi know some a unuh. Mi nuh trouble unuh,” Rosealee said.
She went on to state that she no longer cares about what people do or what they say about her anymore; she only wants her children back. The TikToker became overwhelmed with emotion as she thought about how she is usually greeted by her children when they return from school.
According to Rosealee, she has been to the CPFSA twice since they removed her children, but the agency has provided no information about their whereabouts. Rosealee shared that despite multiple visits and calls, some made by Jakes, they have only told her that they will call her back.
As she continues to try to get her children back, Rosealee shared in a subsequent video that she is being assisted by Ackeem despite their public fallout.
