After the passing of his daughter earlier this year, Alexander Jones, more popularly known as Bashy Law, is still trying to unravel the truth surrounding the death of the 4-year-old. Bashy took to social media on Monday to call out Minister of Health and Wellness Dr. Christopher for what he described as the disrespect he has faced while trying to have his daughter’s cause of death investigated.
In January, Bashy blamed the staff at the Bustamante Children’s Hospital for the death of his daughter, Alexandrianna Jones, who was receiving treatment at the facility for a tumour. He accused the hospital of neglecting Jones as well as hiding her time of death.
According to Bashy, by the time he had been informed of his daughter’s death, her body had allegedly already begun to decay. He also accused the hospital of attempting to withhold his daughter’s remains so he could conduct an independent autopsy.
Bashy, who manages Dancehall artiste Chronic Law, shared a short quote on Monday, which criticised empires.
“Every empire has one fear. A voice too loud. A mind too sharp. A rebel who doesn’t obey. These 10 rebels questioned the system… and vanished before they could finish their fight,” the quote states.
In the post’s caption, Bashy said that he has still not been able to get the official medical report on his daughter’s death, even though it has been seven months since she died.
“This disrespect on getting my daughter’s report from the health minister and the disrespectful things that is been uttered by him and his circle is very unprofessional and sad. Because these are the people who say they are for people and has there own families at home an yet still they let people live and feel uncomfortable. They know what they did to my child that’s why I can’t get the report 7 months now and still waiting.” Bashy wrote.
He went on to state that his daughter’s spirit will never be able to rest until the truth is revealed.
“My baby spirit won’t rest till I get the truth. Wicked set of people they are. To see me suffering to (know) what happened to my child and can’t get an answer. I smile in my pictures, but broken deeply inside.”
In a previously released statement, the artiste manager said that an independent autopsy indicated that the 4-year-old had died from a blood clot. According to Bashy, the pathologist who conducted the autopsy said that the blood clot could have been prevented with blood thinners.
