Two men were shot and killed by armed assailants in Mount Salus, St. Andrew on Tuesday night.
The names of the deceased men have not yet been shared with the public.
However, one of the victims was reportedly known by the alias ‘Smuggle’.
According to initial reports by eyewitnesses at the scene, both men were standing at a shop in the community at the time the incident occurred.
While at the shop, they were approached by gunmen who shot them before fleeing the scene.
The victims died at the scene from the injuries they sustained.
One of the men was reportedly found inside the shop, while the other’s body was found along the roadway.
The double murder is currently being investigated by the St. Andrew North police.
A number of residents from the community can be seen near the scene of the shooting in a short video recorded after the incident.
