Taximan gunned down in May Pen

The Clarendon police are currently investigating the killing of a taxi operator on Wednesday night in May Pen.

The deceased has been identified as Gary Gordon, a 39-year-old of a Sewell Crescent address in the parish.

Reports indicate that unknown assailants shot and killed Gary sometime after 10:00pm when residents reported hearing loud explosions.

Residents discovered Gary’s body early in the morning, riddled with bullets, beside his white Toyota Probox motor vehicle.

He received multiple gunshot wounds to his head and upper body.

Police responded to the scene of the crime and transported the victim to the hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.

Investigations are ongoing.
