A man was fatally shot in his community, Queen Hythes, in Discovery Bay, St. Ann, Wednesday night.
The authorities identified the deceased as Derrick Clayton, popularly known as ‘WarCannon’ on Social Media.
According to reports, around 9:00pm, unknown assailants shot the 35-year-old man multiple times while he stood along the roadway.
Authorities transported Clayton to the St. Ann’s Bay Regional Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.
Clayton gained over 16,000 followers on TikTok for his freestyles during live sessions.
The TikToker was also vocal about the passing of his daughter, Jada-Lee Clayton, who died in a motor vehicle accident earlier this year.
Jada-Lee was laid to rest on Sunday, just a few days before her father’s demise.
