A Clarendon man has now been charged with the murder of his wife after a domestic dispute turned deadly.

The deceased was identified as 33-year-old Shashane Williams of a Cupid District, Frankfield address in Clarendon.

The police have charged 39-year-old Anray Williams, with the murder of his wife.

Preliminary reports suggest that sometime after 11:00pm on Tuesday, the couple was at home with their children when an argument developed.

The dispute quickly turned into a physical altercation and it alleged that Anray used a knife to inflict wounds on the now-deceased.

Mr. Williams then allegedly set their house on fire.

Residents of Cupid District swiftly intervened, rescuing the children, and Shashane’s lifeless body from the burning house.

Neighbors contacted the relevant authorities and upon their arrival, firefighters managed to extinguish the fire.

The police found Shashane’s body in the yard with multiple stab wounds and burn marks.

They rushed her to the hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead.

Anray later turned himself into police custody.
