Devastation rocked the community of Pleasant Heights, Rockfort in Kingston on Monday night following a gun attack that left five people dead and several injured.
The shooting claimed the lives of five men at a football match in the community.
The victims have not yet been identified.
Reports from the Head of Kingston Eastern, Superintendent Tommilee Chambers are that men armed with high-powered weapons invaded a football match sometime after 8:00pm and fired indiscriminately at the crowd.
When the shooting subsided, five men were seen lying in a pool of blood.
The number of injured persons remains unclear.
