Trelawny man hailed by gunman posing as friend then killed

Terror struck what once was a quiet neighborhood in a small community in Liner Parish, Trelawny on Wednesday afternoon.

A young man known as ‘Dangles’ of a Lorrimers address in the parish was shot and killed by a lone gunman who approached him and posed as a friend.

The gunman greeted the now-deceased and shook his hand before pulling a firearm and shooting the victim multiple times in the head.

The gunman then escaped the scene on foot.

The incident took place at a corner shop in Liner Parish at around 5:20pm.

Residents heard the explosions and went to investigate and saw a man suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds.

The police were summoned and the body was removed from the scene.

The shooting was caught on camera by CCTV on near nearby building.
