A shocking tragedy unfolded early Saturday morning in Mammee Bay, St. Ann.
Residents woke up to devastating news about what seems to be deadly domestic dispute.
Jessica Howell, known affectionately as “Nooksi,” was found with her throat slashed around 4:40 a.m. The discovery left the quiet community reeling in disbelief and fear.
Authorities have identified the main suspect as her former lover, Conroy Norris Hylton, also known as ‘Spragga’ or ‘Rasta’ a resident of the community.
Locals are struggling to process the violence that struck so close to home. Many are calling for swift justice and better protection in the area.
“This is heartbreaking. Nooksi was always smiling and full of life. We never expected something like this here,” said one resident.
