Police are currently at the scene of a fatal shooting along the Mandela Highway entrance to Portmore, St. Catherine, where investigators are processing an early morning murder.
According to reports, the attack took place at 7:12am on Friday.
Dashcam footage of the incident was released on Social Media showing the tragic moment.
The shooting took place in full view of a traffic cop who went scampering for cop as the gunmen made their escape.
The video shows two men on a motorcycle approaching a silver minibus that stopped at a traffic light.
The pillion rider, opened fire on the driver’s side of the vehicle, discharging multiple shots.
It’s reported that two people were shot, one fatally.
In the aftermath of the shooting, the van veered off the roadway and came to a stop on a nearby embankment.
One of the victims was identified as a well-known businessman who goes by the alias “Fish”, who operates a Plaza in the Town Center of Spanish Town, St. Catherine.
