The police are currently searching for two wanted men, following the murder of a toddler and a man during a drive-by shooting in Kingston 20 last night.
The deceased child has been identified as Tajaun Jackson, and the man has been identified as Kimarley Powell, a businessman who was also known by the alias ‘Beans’. The two-year-old toddler resided in Grand Ridge Path, Nannyville, St. Andrew, while Powell was a resident of Grenmead Road, where the shooting took place.
According to reports, Powell was sitting on a bench in his community with a group of people at about 7:30 when the incident occurred. A motor car drove up the lane, made a U-turn, then stopped, and the occupants of the vehicle opened fire at Powell.
However, Jackson and another man whose identity remains unknown were also shot during the gunfire. The two men and the toddler were taken to a hospital, but Powell and Jackson succumbed to their injuries.
Following their deaths, the police have listed two men, Courtney ‘Bloodstain’ Ashley and a man known as Miller, as wanted in relation to the drive-by shooting. According to reports, Ashley is the most wanted individual in the St. Andrew South Police Division and is also wanted in relation to other incidents, including a triple murder.
The police are urging the men to turn themselves in immediately.
