Rushawn Patterson, the accused and main suspect in the murder of late social media influencer ‘Slickiana’ was on Tuesday morning fatally shot by the police in Hanover.
According to the police, Patterson was killed in an alleged confrontation sometime after 5:30am.
Details are unclear at this time.
Rushawn was on bail and was awaiting trial on October 15 after a delay in the case due to health reasons.
Aneka Townsend, popularly known as ‘Slickiana’ body was found floating in Reading, St. James on October 21, 2022.
Post-mortem results determined that the social media influencer was strangled.
Patterson was formally charged on November 11, 2022.
