Three young men were shot and killed in Central Village, St. Catherine Wednesday night.
Two brothers were among the deceased.
They were identified as Giovanni Ferguson, otherwise known as ‘Gio’, and Jahiem Ferguson, also called ‘Jay Jay’ from Mcbride Hill.
The third victim is Matthew Smith, also known as ‘Cool Jay’, a 20-year-old from Thomas Lane, Central Village.
It is reported that at about 10:00pm, residents heard loud explosions and subsequently stumbled upon the bodies.
The police were summoned, and on their arrival, two of the deceased were found outside of a house with multiple gunshot wounds to the head and upper body.
The third man was found inside the house under the bed.
This marks the first triple murder to start the New Year
The St. Catherine police are investigating.
