A man was shot and killed in Christiana, Manchester moments after he dropped off his stepdaughter at a Primary School in the parish.
The deceased has been identified as Cuthbert ‘Jerome’ Lambert a 27-year-old of a Manchester address.
Reports are that shortly after 8:00am, Jerome was on his way back from the Christiana Moravian Primary School where his daughter attends when he was attacked.
Jerome was shot multiple times in the head and upper body and died on the spot.
The police were summoned and the body was removed to the morgue.
According to the Manchester police, Jerome Lambert was on bail for a murder charge.
He was charged in relation to a 2018 incident where a child was murdered.
Investigators are trying to ascertain a motive for the attack.
