Suspect in Clarendon Massacre killed by security forces

A suspect in Sunday’s mass killing in Cherry Tree Lane, Four Paths, Clarendon was today cut down by security forces in the parish this afternoon.

The deceased has been identified as Steve Smith otherwise known as ‘Fly Brain’ of an address in the parish.

Reports are that members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force Fugitive Apprehension Team went to a location in Osborne Store, Clarendon in search of the suspects related to the mass killing.

Upon reaching the premises, the police were fired upon by Smith.

The security forces returned fire and Smith was found suffering from gunshot wounds and clutching a firearm.

He was taken to the May Pen Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Smith was also on the police’s radar for being involved in multiple contract-style killings across the parish.
