A truck driver was fatally shot along the Spanish Town bypass in St. Catherine on Saturday afternoon.
The driver was identified only as “Jimmy” from an address in the parish.
Preliminary reports are that the driver was washing his truck sometime around 1:00pm when he was appointed by gunmen and then shot.
Jimmy received multiple gunshot wounds to his head and upper body.
The police were summoned and the victim taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The scene was cordoned off and being processed by investigators.
No motive has yet been established for the attack.
