A man was shot and killed in Denham Town, West Kingston on Monday night.
The deceased has been identified by his alias ‘Duday’ of a North Street address in the parish.
Reports from the Denham Town police state that the victim was standing along the roadway at about 9:50pm when an armed man shot him multiple times in the upper body.
The man then escaped on foot into nearby communities.
The police responded to the loud explosions and saw ‘Duday’ lying on his back in a pool of blood.
Members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force and the Jamaica Defense Force are currently on the scene beating males on Wellington Street.
Reputable sources told Radamm that members of JCF and JDF are putting young men to lie facedown in the middle of the road and beating them to produce information.
Denham Town has been under a State Of Emergency from 2016.
