Four men died in an early morning motor vehicle accident along the Rio Neuvo Main Road in St. Mary.
The deceased were identified as Brandon Nelson, Kenroy Fung, Romario Grey, and the driver of the vehicle, Chad Beckford.
The driver was a 34-year-old Carpenter from a Stewart Town address.
Reports are that the driver of a white Mercedes-Benz C200 lost control of the vehicle due to speeding.
Authorities indicate that Mr. Beckford was about to make a right turn, but due to driver error, the vehicle ran off the road into bushes and collided with a tree.
The emergency crew took all four men to the Port Maria Hospital, where doctors pronounced three dead on arrival, and the driver later succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities theorized the men were coming from a party.
The St. Mary police are advising motorists to drive safely when traversing the roadways.
More details to come as the story develops.
