A businessman was fatally shot in an early morning attack on Constant Spring Road in St. Andrew on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Stephan Trenchfield the owner of Millions Auto Sales and Car Rental in Top Hill, St. Elizabeth.
Reports are that the occupants of a Mercedes-Benz were attacked by armed men on motorbikes in the vicinity of Phil’s Hardware.
Stephan received multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body and was rushed to Andrew’s Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The gunmen escaped on their motorcycle.
The crime scene has caused a build-up in traffic forcing motorists to take alternative routes.
Investigations are ongoing.
