Suspect in Digicel employee’s disappearance fatally shot by police

A suspect in the disappearance of a Digicel Employee, Kevin Walker, was shot and killed by the police in Denham Town.

The deceased has been identified only by his alias, ‘Diamond.’

Reports are that Diamond was the main target of a police operation in the disappearance of Kevin Walker who is presumed dead.

It is reported that around 7:40pm on Last Street in West Kingston, the police signaled a grey Probox motor car to stop.

The vehicle was reportedly stolen from its owner earlier in the day.

After intercepting the motor vehicle, it began to drive recklessly and allegedly fired at the police.

The police returned fire and ‘Diamond’ was found suffering from gunshot wounds.

He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

One firearm was allegedly retrieved.

Another suspect, Tajay Thompson, also known as ‘Teko,’ was apprehended by the police.

The police are urging two other suspects, alias Shano and Lavar Whitter, to turn themselves into the nearest police station.
