The teen boys seen in a viral video assaulting a 13-year-old female have been charged with multiple offenses.
The Child Protection and Family Service Agency (CPFSA) has listed the charges including rape, forcible abduction, recording the incident, and distributing the video.
The video was posted on Instagram last week and circulated on other Social Media media platforms.
The CPFSA stated that their investigations revealed that the group of male students allegedly lured the 13-year-old to a house where she was assaulted.
The head of CPFSA, Laurette Adams-Thomas, says she strongly condemns the act against the schoolgirl.
She continued, “The level of violence we continue to see being displayed by children is of grave concern.”
Laurette Adams-Thomas is reminding the public to report all forms of child abuse by calling 211.
