A relationship mix-up involving two Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) soldiers took an unexpected turn after one serviceman came face-to-face with a fellow soldier inside the house he shares with his partner.
In the video, the soldier claims he had been suspicious for some time after noticing fellow JDF member Kashief Haughton, also known as “Showman,” had been texting his partner, Akila Hermit.
He also alleged that the two had been spending time together, making him believe something was going on.
Those suspicions became a reality when he arrived home earlier than expected and found Haughton inside his residence.
What followed was a tense back-and-forth as both soldiers confronted each other over the situation.
During the exchange, Akila remained locked inside a bathroom while both soldiers argued.
The upset soldier repeatedly told Haughton to leave his house.
Haughton eventually got dressed, but according to the video, he appeared hesitant to leave, expressing concern about what might be waiting for him outside.
The soldier recording the incident could be heard telling him to simply pull the front door and leave, but Haughton questioned why he had to exit through the front door, adding another tense moment to the already heated exchange.
At one point, Haughton appeared to turn his frustration toward Hermit, accusing her of misleading him by not telling him she was living with another man.
The soldier recording quickly rejected that claim, arguing that the messages exchanged between the pair and the time they allegedly spent together meant Haughton should have already known.
The confrontation ended with emotions running high as accusations continued to fly.
Neither Haughton nor Hermit has publicly responded to the allegations heard in the video.
