Dancehall artist ‘Fido’ and his father found shot dead at home

Popular Dancehall Artiste Floyd ‘Fido’ Ferguson also known as “King Corrupt” and his father Hubert Ferguson, 60, widely known as ‘Bestie’ were discovered dead in their home in New Forest, Manchester, Friday morning.

According to reports, concerned residents summoned the police after finding the two men with their hands bound and body riddled with bullets.

Emergency responders confirmed both victims were dead on arrival.

Police have opened a full investigation into the double homicide, focusing on determining the motive behind the killings and tracking down the individuals responsible.

As of now, no arrests have been reported in connection with the case.

The deaths come amid a worrying surge in violent crime across Manchester, where murder rates have climbed noticeably in recent months.

‘Fido’ is known for songs like Jump Out and Tek Ova.

The 33-year-old Trap Dancehall Artiste is also a businessman who operates a car dealership in the parish.
