Two people were reportedly shot and injured by security forces on Wednesday evening.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are still unclear.
A viral video shows women and family members of one injured victim refusing to let police take the young man to the hospital in their service vehicle, citing distrust in the Jamaica Constabulary Force.
Residents claim that the JCF has a reputation for executing (finishing off) their injured victims while on the way to the hospital.
Some 132 people have so far been killed by the police as of May 21.
INDECOM is probing the incident.
