Dancehall veteran Harry Toddler has hit back at his former groupmate Elephant Man, after the deejay accused him of being behind the disbandment of their group, the Scare Dem Crew.
The Scare Dem Crew, comprised of Bounty Killer, Elephant Man, Harry Toddler, Nitty Kutchie, and Boom Dandimite, rose to prominence in the 1990s. However, Bounty later left the group to pursue a solo career. While the remaining members initially continued without him; the group eventually disbanded.
During a recent interview, Elephant Man said that it was Harry Toddler who decided to leave and pursue a solo career first, as he already had successful solo tracks. Toddler has since rubbished the deejay’s claims and dubbed him a liar as he questioned how he could have broken up the group.
In a newly released video, Toddler said that he has been trying to be peaceful, but suggested that there are people in the industry who hate him.
He further stated that Elephant Man is not a good person and accused him of trying to sleep with his child’s mother as well as the partners of his other friends. According to Toddler, he chose to stay in the group despite Elephant Man’s alleged betrayal, but they disbanded after Nitty Kutchi allegedly hit him.
“Everybody nuh know seh a Nitty Kutchi lick yuh in a yuh face and di group mash up? How di f**k mi fi mash up Scare Dem… Elephant a one wicked p**sy hole liad boy. Yah try f**k mi baby mada and mi find out and me seh me nah guh nuh weh,” Toddler said.
Toddler went on to suggest that people in the industry have been paying to tarnish his name and further accused Elephant Man of allegedly using obeah to bring him down.
“Remember seh a obeah yuh obeah bl**dcl**t Harry Toddler name fi reach which part yuh bl**dcl**t deh… In a Scare Dem Crew group days, everybody know seh me cyah travel. Me cyah go (America). Up to this day me cyah go U.S.A. to how dem set it. From him granny and him madda dem days. To how dah family deh set the ritual. Kill dem kill Harry Toddler from dem days enuh. Bury me nuh,” Toddler stated.
