The authorities are investigating the suspected drowning of a teen who died in Manchester on Monday at Hector’s River.

The deceased teen has been identified as Allando Segree. Segree was a resident of Craighead, Manchester, and attended the Troy High School in Trelawny.

According to reports, Segree and four other teenagers went to Hector’s River to swim at approximately 1 p.m. The police shared that while the teens were swimming, two of them encountered difficulties in the water.
