9-Y-O’s Rape and Murder Suspect Killed by the Police

Giovanni Ellis, the main suspect in the rape and murder of 9-year-old Kelsey Ferrigon, has been shot and killed by the police.

Ferrigon was found partially nude in a barrel inside her house at Job Lane in Spanish Town, St. Catherine, on Friday.

According to reports, Ellis was fatally shot by members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) during an operation near Sandy Bay, Clarendon, Monday morning.

It is not clear if Ellis was armed at the time of the incident.

Ellis allegedly previously committed sexual offences twice in the past.

Reports state that before Ferrigon’s murder, Ellis was out on bail for his most recent sexual offence.

During an interview with Nationwide News, Ellis’s mother condemned her son’s actions, instructing anyone who saw him to kill him.

According to his mother, his father was abusive and took custody of him when he was two.
