The body of a woman was found inside a barrel in a gully in the vicinity of Industrial Terrace along Marcus Garvey Drive, Kingston
The woman has not been identified up to press time.
Reports are that someone stumbled upon the body at around 11:30am and summoned the police.
The body was seen wrapped in a black garbage bag and stuffed inside a blue barrel.
The Kingston Western Police processed the scene and retrieved the body from the waters.
The body was taken to the morgue pending identification.
