Two students are confirmed dead after a reported crash on the Bustamante Highway in Clarendon on Monday morning.
The incident happened around 8:20 am.
Preliminary reports suggest that the driver of a silver Probox motor vehicle was traversing along the highway when he collided with a Subaru Impreza motor car.
The accident took place east of the highway’s intersection with Foga Road.
Multiple injuries were reported.
Unconfirmed reports suggest that the Probox was being chased by Transport Authorities
The driver fled the scene and was nabbed at the Norman Manley International Airport at around 1:30pm.
The police theorized the driver was trying to leave the country.
