A man was fatally shot outside the gate of Rousseau Primary School early Friday morning.
The deceased is believed to be a parent who was dropping off children at the school.
He has been identified as DeShawn Newry a 36-year-old of a Barbican Road address.
Reports are that, around 8:40am, the now-deceased arrived at the school gate when he was attacked by armed men.
Three children who were on the bus witnessed the murder.
Vendors and other bystanders were sent running in different directions.
None of the children were hurt following the attack.
Last month, in October, another similar incident happened where a parent identified as 56-year-old Gary ‘Junior’ Leslie was shot dead on the school compound.
Parents were sent messages in a WhatsApp Group to pick up their children as school closed for the day.
The police are currently processing the scene.
