A Campion College student died in a freak accident on Tuesday evening when a goalpost he was standing near fell on him.
The injured student was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The teen was identified as 13-year-old Rashad Richards, a student of the prominent school in St. Andrew.
This is the second tragic news involving a Campion College student in recent years.
In September of 2022, a fifth-form student, Jordan Gibson drowned in the school’s swimming pool.
Efforts to contact the school’s Principal Grace Baston were futile.
