A woman was fatally shot allegedly by her ex-boyfriend following a domestic dispute in Halfway Tree on Friday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Rochelle also known as ‘Tina’.
Reports are that the couple were at a club on South Odean, Halfway Tree, St. Andrew when an argument developed among the two.
The ex-boyfriend then reportedly pulled out his firearm and shot the now-deceased multiple times in the upper body.
She was then rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Investigators cordoned off the area as a crime scene and business ordered closed for the day.
The suspect is said to be an ex-jdf member and is being asked by the police to turn himself in.
UPDATE: the ex-soldier has been picked up by the police and will he questioned in the presence of his lawyer.
