A video is now surfacing social media depicting an Old Harbour woman who was killed in April being confronted by her ex-boyfriend.
The woman identified as 23-year-old Shanae Smith of Old Harbour, St. Catherine died in a domestic dispute in the United States.
Smith was shot in the head in her home in Lithonia, Georgia at around 1:40pm.
According to Shanae’s mother, Tanisha Williams, the ex-boyfriend called her phone and confessed that he had just shot her daughter.
“him say him shoot her because she waa lef him”, said Williams.
Keire and Shanae met in high school as they both attended Old Harbour High but started dating in 2022.
Shanae migrated to the US and was working in a restaurant.
Police have listed Keire Schloss as the main suspect in the murder.
Williams shared that in the first week of April, Shanae had hinted to her that there were some problems in the relationship but when she spoke with Keire he assured her that everything was okay.
A video circulating shows Shanae being confronted by her ex-boyfriend accusing her of cheating.
Keire allegedly caught Shanae with another man and an argument ensued.
Keire can be heard yelling “me a call down your phone and can’t get yuh, me and you a get married breda”
Shanae then responded “you a create excitement, me and the man nuh inna ntn”
Keire then walks away mumbling, seemingly upset at the disrespectful words said to him by the other man.
The video ends when he enters his motor vehicle.
Many social media users have since paid their tributes to the late 23-year-old female.
