A body was found lying in bushes in Rose Town Kingston 13 early Saturday morning.
The deceased was identified as ‘Malik’ of a Kingston address.
Reports are that the man was found lying face down in a vegetated area with his face peeled off.
The body was clad in a white T-shirt and blue jeans that was pulled down to his ankle.
The police were summoned after a resident stumbled upon the body.
Investigators are trying to determine a motive for the killing and if the man was also a victim of sexual assault.
The body was later removed to the morgue.
