A Triple murder has rocked a community in Grants Pen after three men were shot, two fatally in a drive-by shooting on Shortwood Lane.
The men were working on a construction site when armed men alighted from a motor vehicle and attacked them.
This comes a day after the brother of dancehall entertainer Jahshii, real name Mluleki Clark was shot and killed by gunmen.
The gunmen escaped off the scene and abandoned the vehicle on Chisholm Avenue to elude the police on pursuit.
Many social media users are wondering if there’s a correlation to Saturday’s incident and Sunday evening daring attack.
The police are informing the public that there is a gang feud going on in the area and this has nothing to do with Jahshii.
Residents in the community have confirmed that the recent uprise in violence is due to rival gunmen from the area.
One resident said, the three men were not the target. The man who controlled the work site was chased by the gunmen after they killed the three workers.
Grants Pen is now under heavy police and military presence amidst the recent flare up of violence.
